A faithful witness to Christ!

In the fall of 1991, Habitat for Humanity had a convention in Columbus, Ohio. My friends told me that President Carter would be the keynote speaker. I was only 19 years old. I was not a Christian then, and I had no idea that Mr. Carter was. I just wanted to see a former United States President speak. I went to the convention with my friends. President Carter spoke about the wonderful and miraculous work of Jesus Christ. I cannot remember all that was said. But I can say that the Lord used President Carter as a means to reach me. Because of his faithful witness to Jesus Christ, I came to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I am forever and eternally grateful for President Carter’s role in my life. Thank you!
